My limewire has stoped working because of some new update about virus's , so I followed the update download thing. Then it deletes my limewire for some reason and I've been trying to redownload it. But whenever I try, a message comes up saying "installation is corrupetd, please download and install lime wire again." I've tried like 5 times and I keep geting the same message. what should I do? I have yahoo DSL and windows XP home edition. Thanks for any help!

edit: oh and also, right when that message poped up, I got a warning for a trojan that was deleted

I had the same thing happen to me. I had to download the new version of Limewire and when i tried to do it it kept coming up with the corrupted message. What you have to do is goto your control panel and to the add/remove programs and remove limewire. Then go to your windows explorer and find your limewire file in there and delete that also. Then go to the recycle bin and delete it out of there, then you will be able to re-download limewire. The reason it says the file is corrupted is because you already have it running on your system and it won't allow you to have moe than 1 of the same program, therefore it is corrupted!!
Let me know how you go with it, but you should be fine as long as you get it totally off your computer BEFORE you try and download again.
Mind you since downloading the new version, i am having SO MUCH TROUBLE!!! Hopefully it doesn't happen to you to.
