New install, only returning a couple of results?

Hello,
I recently got a new notebook and installed limewire. It seems to connect fine, but it only returns a few results for common searches such as ac/dc. FYI I am running vista. Is there a problem w/ a firewall perhaps? I have not downloaded a firewall, but on the bottom is sayslimewire has detected a firewall. any other ideas?
