Why are all mp3 files in RealPlayer format All of a sudden it seems like my mp3 downloads are all in realplayer format, when I want them in Quicktime. Any ideas? I'm on a Mac OS 9.2.2 Cheers, Jeremy |
RealPlayer likes to grab hold of MP3 files. To stop it in RealPlayer go to View:Preferences:Upgrade:Auto-Restore Settings. Uncheck Mpeg Audio. This thread has more general fixes about opening applications: <http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...&threadid=6616> |
File Exchange Control panel Open your File Exchange control panel. Scroll down to mp3, you will have a few listings for mp3's. Select each of them and change (edit) to the program you want to open your mp3's. Close control panel your done. |
