Someone help me please, I can't get past setup.

I downloaded limewire but when I click on it to run through the setup it pops up a window saying "removing previous versions of limewire" and it doesn't go on from there. I have had my computer running for 3 hours now and nothing has changed. Can anyone help me get past this?
