Application Missing?!
 

I'm trying to download a program. I've been able to find it and dowload the installer and sn. When I install it, It gives me a folder with only the installer log file, license, and readme file. THE APPLICATION IS NOT THERE. I've tried downloading a few different files but the same thing keeps happining. I am using a mac running OS.9.04. Please help me.

The application is not where? Do you know where you're downloading it to? And are you looking in the right place for the downloaded files? Nobody can help you with this vague, nonsensical question. Take a beginner's Mac course or something.

When I install the downloaded program, the application itself does not install and therefore I can't use it. I'm well aware where everything is going on my hard drive. Thank you for taking the time from your obviously busy schedule to reply to my nonsensical question. Your comments were very helpful.

This isn't a LimeWire question.
Maybe you downloaded the program but it had missing files? Who knows, maybe that's the copy you got! Try downloading it again.
