My download speed has dropped dramatically.

I have Limewire Pro 4.18.3 and my download speed has went from around 81 KB/s to 23 KB/s. Why is that and how can I fix it. I can download from 10 hosts and only get 3 KB/s. Not Limewire and computer literate, but please help me.

If you posted your System details - help us to help you -> Provide these details when you post!!! then somebody might be able to help you.

Windows XP, 160 GB hard drive, 1GB Memory. home comp. dial-up wireless modem through Cricket Wireless.

i love the fact no one will help me if i don't put computer info on here, but I see ppl getting helped all the time without theirs. two weeks now my download speed has dropped horribly. From up to 100 KB/s to around 20 KB/s. Why is this and how do i fix it?????
Pls help me.
