Smile Sharing FLV files

Hey!

I've been a Limewire user for many years now and I've only just begun to share my collection of FLV files. I have specified in my Limewire program that I am willing to share my FLV's through "Sharing" >>> "Types" >>> "My Extensions."

Does Limewire support FLV file sharing, because I never get any search results which include them myself?

Thanks!

FLV = Flash Video File. ___ Not sure most people are accustom to knowing what extension flash files have. I personally am more accustom to .swf file extension for Flash files. Of course, swf meaning ShockWave File.

You're probably right Lord of the Rings, but in this day of You Tube and 'the like' you would think that people would be more aware. But even if they're not, I never seem to find any FLV files or SWF files just by chance, and I find that so odd. You would think that an "all files" search would pick up both of those file types with or without the users' knowledge, if shared. SWF files were always just as good for me. :-)

I haven't actually seen an SWF file in a long time, possibly 2 years now, ever since Adobe bought out Macromedia. It seems like it's going to be an "Adobe World" from now on, especially with the introduction of Abobe Air, Acrobat.com and their new Adobe Media Player.

Woo-hoo! Someone finally downloaded one of my FLV files!

I love the quality of FLV's. I've converted some of them to mpg's, but even at the best conversion quality, they're still not as good as the original FLV.

I've also found that Adobe Media Player (version 1.1) is the best FLV player, especially when combined with Adobe Air. I hope that the FLV format begins to really catch-on. :-)
