![]() hi there new to limewire here and have downloaded movies successfully in past but recently get halfway downloaded and i get a corrupt file message .can some one explain and how to avoid or remedy in future thanx |

![]() I am also having a problem like this with music, coupled with an indication, on the FIRST item located for each search, that it has previously been downloaded (and the indicated "size" is always 5,611KB) Last edited by cedricharris; August 6th, 2008 at 06:57 AM. |

![]() 5,611Mb = 5.6 GB ... are you sure that was the size or was it 5,611 KB ? ![]() A file the size of 5,611 KB would most likely be spammed porn stealing the name of the item you searched for. However there's other type of spam, etc. out there now too. Bitzi is a great way to check the files. How to use Bitzi Web Lookup |

![]() To go back to the corrupted files, these all show a size of 3,462 KB on LimeWire's Logging. A clue to this outcome occurs during download when the file won't preview. More: I have tried to get rid of these (and the 5,611 KB files) but they are shown as being "in use". I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the problem gets reinstalled as well! Will someone please help? |

![]() Advice then is to ignore such files in future. Try options here: Incomplete Download File won't delete at all (click on link) |
