Default limewire torrent

i downloaded a video and it says limewire torrent but when i try to burn it to a dvd it says file not supported but it will play on windows media player

Have you converted the file to dvd format ??

If the file is an avi for example it has to be converted using some sort of conversion software...There are many different programs out there, I use Nero....

This may explain in a little more detail...

i tried the convert x to dvd program and it says fil not supported i have another file which im going to try to convert

it just says limewire torrent doesnt say avi or anything

but the new one i downloaded says video clip but when i burn it to a disk i put it in my dvd player and it says unknown disk

and itll only burn on divx if i try to burn it on my default program that came with the computer it says send error report

I just googled intervideo windvd creater and found that it won't do what you want, it's more for creating your owns movies from screen captures, editing and such...Very similar to Windows Movie Maker...

In the link I gave you for Nero, there is a trial version, download that and follow the step by step instructions that Sleepless has posted...

Let me know how you get on with that...
