I don't understand why you must "manually hit resume" while awaiting busy hosts.

Metadata about files is often incorrect. But, as you say, they're fine. So WTF?

i dont understand it either man, its like it says waiting for busy hosts, but ill keep hitting the rusume button til it does. but it wont resume on its own, i have to keep hittin the button

so if the bitrates are ok, does it show up to other people as the awkward bitrate or wha?

In this context metadata is file information that is contained within a file. For an MP3 file, metadata may include the artist's name, album name, track number, bit rate, etc. Metadata can be added, deleted, or altered.

The download rate will drop down to 0 when LW says "waiting for busy hosts" because it's, well, waiting.

You should not have to resume searches unless they have been paused or cancelled. You can have LW 'search for more results'. Is that what you mean?

There is a bug in the latter versions of LW where LW will not always auto-resume a file that has gone into busy hosts mode. I noticed it from LW 4.16, but may have been existent a little earlier.

Bitrates? 128, 160, 196, 224, 256, 320 are almost always CBR (Constant bit rate), those that are between are VBR (Variable Bit Rate.) More about bit rates here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/downlo...-bitrates.html I prefer VBR myself as they tend to be better balanced in their sound.
