100% Complete Download, But Still "Queued"

Those who have downloaded from LimeWire have noticed that after the file has fully finished downloading and is at 100%, another much shorter step occurs, which Verifies File Contents. For most of my downloads, this has happened, as it should. But for two of them, the download process stopped at 100% and entered the Queued state, without proceeding to Verify File Contents. When I noticed this, I Paused them both, then unPaused them, and they both immediately reentered the Queued state, still at 100%, but neither moved to the final stage of the download. No matter how many times I Pause and unPause them, both continue to reenter the Queued state after each unPause, and neither download finishes. This happens even when each file is the only download I am receiving through the Gnutella network. Does anyone know what causes this, and what I can do to get those two downloads running again? What should I do to correct this problem, so it does not happen in the future?

Thanks in advance for any help! :laugh_2:

Not sure, but I noticed this at least as far back as LW version 4.16.x
I tried same techniques. I believe it may be a bug that's crept into LW. Might be an idea to post the issue at LimeWire Forums

In the meantime, if the file is complete, then you could cancel from the download window, go to Library window, select incomplete folder at bottom, press Explore button & remove the file. ;)

Hello,
1. go to download screen and delete the file at 100% but not complete
2. exit from limewire
3. restart limewire
4. go to incomplete and resume the download,
usually the file begin the verifying process

Thanks for the Help!

I tried the suggestions posted in response to my question, but for some reason I could not get them to work. I ended up completely deleting those two files from the Incomplete folder on my hard drive and restarting the searches for them from scratch, and both downloads completed fully this time. I suppose we can chalk it up to a quirk in the network. Thanks, y'all! :rolleyes_2:
