how can i prevent downloading viruses on limewire?
 

hey guys, i hav not downloaded limewire yet, thats because i am afraid of viruses, but if u guys can convince me that its easy enough to stay away from them, that would be greatly appreciated,... O and also

• How common are viruses common on limewire?
• Which Virus protection program do u recommend?

There isn't actually any viruses within Limewire, it's the Gnutella network that is flooded with them...

Remember, in this forum you will most often see posts from people who have had problems using LimeWire or other p-p software. You don't see how many people use these programs with little or no trouble. Often, postings reveal that the user has been enjoying the program for years and only recently encountered a problem (which may be caused by their ISP, firewall, etc).
