Downloads sticking around 80%
 

Hi Everyone, I'm new to the forums. I've got windows vista and a broadband connection, I've been downloading AVI files of televison episodes succesfully, but now the downloads seem to be 'sticking' at between 80% and 90% says remaining time is around 20 - 30 minutes and stays like that for hours! :confused: Any help would be appreciated please.

Forgot to mention I'm using Limewire 4.18.3

Hi thanks for your reply, but it says the file is downloading not looking for sources or in a queue or anything.

sources its waiting for people to share the file
did you try a new file on the list?

I've been reading a few other posts and someone was advised to delete limewire's preference folder, I've done this and it appears to have solved the problem. All my current downloads disappeared though but no problem I have just searched for them again and restarted them.

usually 100 higher are fakes
i go with 10 less
in case of waiting i delete the file and move on

Well
Delete The File From The Downloads
Then Try To Resume It From The Incomplete Folder.
If Nothings Happen,
Delete It Another Time From The Download
And Search For The File,
Select To Download It As It Was A New File That You Download
And Maybe It Happens That The File After Begin Download
Will Be Resumed ... (because A Part Of File Is Already Downloaded In The Incomplete Folder)

then cancel and try new one w number like 2 i get it done bout 20 seconds
