Downloads sticking around 80%

Hi Everyone, I'm new to the forums. I've got windows vista and a broadband connection, I've been downloading AVI files of televison episodes succesfully, but now the downloads seem to be 'sticking' at between 80% and 90% says remaining time is around 20 - 30 minutes and stays like that for hours!

Any help would be appreciated please.
