![]() I'm using Windows XP. XP has a folder called Documents and Settings. Under Documents and Settings are other folders named for different users on this computer. Each user then has folders under their name. I tried to save my downloaded files to C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\My Music. LimeWire told me I could not save to this folder. Does anyone know why? I'm using the lastest version: LimeWire 2.2 |

![]() Folder attribute is set to Read Only. In My Documents, right-click the icon for the My Music folder, choose Properties, and clear the Read Only attribute on the General tab. Unfortunately, it might go right back to being read-only anyway. I never did figure out why. I put all my music on a separate drive, so I never bothered to pursue. My have to check out http://search.microsoft.com for an answer to that one. |
