Default 99% and stop

Hi all
New probs comin' up. I have no some files which are almost downloaded. But at 99% they stop and get either queued or are downloading but with no progress...
Can anyone help me?
I got the version 4.18.5 running on winXP home sp2.

Same problemas above. 99.9% downloaded and stop. Also, I have four movies waiting four days. One has 40% and stop three days ago. The other three will not start. drpag

About four days ago, I tried to sign in to this program. They asked for my login and said they did not recognize it. And e-mail whereupon they said they cannot recognize any of it. They then asked for my password and said that that was not recognized. Today when I signed in, my login was there Welcoming me???

I have the same problem............does anyone know what to do? I have about 20 files sitting at 99%

drpag, not sure what the sign in problem was. But sounds like you were trying to log into the beta forums & not these ones. That's a separate forum.

This will commonly happen with video files. Often because you are downloading via someone else's incomplete file you are waiting for the last part from them until they finish downloading the file. In many cases the person with the complete file is not online on the gnutella network at same time as you are.

Best options I can think of are:

(1) Use the search function to try to find more sources for the file. Then also use the Get More Results option by right-clicking the search result tab.




(b) If you see the folder icon showing you are presently downloading the file & your download has not started to continue, then cancel your download & reselect from the search result that has that 'in download process' icon.
