Can anyone tell me why I have to manually click on 'share file' with bnp files but jpeg files share automatically ?

In the options you can choose which file types to share. Try adding .bmp to that list.

Don't see .bnp anywhere in the files type list. I'm talking about Bitmap Images. Is that the same thing as bnp files ?

Well unless they changed something, you can add file types by yourself. I can't exactly point you to the right options screen because I haven't got any Gnutella program installed at the moment.

BTW isn't it .bmp?
