files downloading but not progressing I am trying to down load 2 files which are the same as many other files i've downloaded without problem before. I got a message saying file corrupted, now, despite a download speed of over 100kb/s the % downloaded is not progressing on and eventually i get the corrupted file message again. I doub't the files are corrup at source. I have tried clearing them from my incomplete folder and starting them again, what else can I try? If anyone has overcome this problem before or has any idea how to get round it, please let me know, thx, BM. |
I'd suggest you heed the warning, there are many infected files out there that look no different to legit ones...You need to ditch the files and look for another to download.... |
Check for Bit Rate...Check file type...Check file size. If it looks fishy, look for it somewhere else. Corruption usually is in compression. |
I'm having this problem too... i have a file @ 48% and it's getting 500+k/s and just not finishing. It's been an hour and still getting similar speeds and should have finished already... I deleted the incomplete and limewire folder that has nothing in it but this isn't doing anything.. maybe there needs another patch? |
Hey I just figured out what to do. Go into your library and click the incomplete files folder. delete everything there and you should be good to retry anything that you didn't leave in there. |
