Not downloading

I have gone into Library - Incomplete files and resumed. However all files are saying more sources required. How ever if I do a search for the same file again. The new download works and I then cancel the old listing.

I have had the same problem for the last couple of months.:mad2:

My incompletes show in RED and will not resume downloading.:bangh:

BooBoo, Any File in Red indicates the File isn't being Shared.
I have'nt used LW for a good while but you can choose to share Incomplete Files. Not sure if this will help in your situation.

Go to Tools > Options > Sharing > Advanced. Check "Alow Partial Sharing" Apply > OK.

Are you Fully Connected to the Network??

Thanks for the reply Remroc.

I have been using Limewire for 2 years or so on 2 computers and have never changed my settings.I have full connection.

I have had this problem since the last 2 upgrades on both computers.

Since my post I deleted limewire from 1 computer and installed an earlier version(4.12.3) from a link in another thread.

My incompletes were still in the incomplete library on the old version,in red.
However, when I hit 'resume' 2 of the 6 incompletes resumed to download and completed.

Today is the 1st time in 2 months that an incompleted download has resumed(I have cancelled many during the period) and it has been on an older version of Limewire.

Weird,verrrrrrrrrry weird.

start from scratch

I had a very large file (455kB of 2Mb). However, when I clicked resume it started from the beginning.
So - what needs backing up and how do I restore so the incompletes are restored correctly?

Thanks,
J.:D
