Default (0/226) ..(0/57) ..(0/187) =? (No files in search results)

I've ejoyed using the Lime for three months and I have certainly accomplished a life-saving task where it comes to archiving the good stuff for Other musicians to reference AFTER the big electromatic bombs arrive.

So why is it that some artists garner large search numbers, while only a couple of titles are available for download to THIS PC? Worse yet, why do some items appear in the list, and then suddenly disappear before I can check my current collection?

With DSL can I change my port, or the ethernet address and freshen-up my URL for increased eligibility?

That's due to your Junk file settings. And believe me, sometimes if not often the junk filter 'can' get it wrong. You need to train it. The Junk filter is a 'dynamic' filter, and 'mostly' only knows what you tell it to.

As you can see from my settings below, I choose to show Junk files at bottom of search results so I can continually double-check files that may not really be junk. And in many cases are not. When you see 0/135, etc. that means some results are being filtered out either via junk filter, else the filter types to the left such as file type, artist, or whatever you choose to show there for the type for search. (eg: Filtering file types??? How to get more options for filtering!!!?)

Keep in mind: Beware of Fake files in search results (Click on the blue link)

Default Up your Upload Limits!

Thanks, ye mighty sorcerer! -Done deal. I had set it to ban those nefarious geeks who create spam like they were compensated in gold, not schillings on the dollar. Maybe I'm just p-a-r-a-n-o-i-d, but it seems the Brits and the French are facing new regulations; "Laws" that soon, (and possibly already have) diminished or negatively influenced our LW capabilities. A month ago, nearly every upload I hosted was a French or Greek title. Now, these requests have wained by a whopping 50-65%. Personally, I have found 92% of all the cool tunes I can remember, so this project is winding down quickly.

I'm building a reference library for use at my planned off-shore retreat. When musicians arrive they'll need a way to access numerous styles and genres which will directly impact the quality of their compositional work. I'm talking about a destination-venue, where a player could get intouch wih their inner-ear.

Picture Bearsville Studios, or Caribou Ranch at its (1985) peak. For a band, rapidly scanning and referencing MP3's is't really the same as owning the records. In fact, I've deliberately stopped at nabbing 1/2 the LP, as I'm adamant about not scamming an artist or player. Like a music reviewer, as a promoter I am really proud to have discovered hundreds of obscure '5-Star' masterpieces, and I consider it not just an honor, but a gift from God, to share these precious messages with those who actually need to hear them. Thanks to LimeWire for making this possible!

Today, after 30 years of tears and joy, our family sold our "#1 Live Music Venue in the State." I hate to say too much here, but I don't think we did this a minute too soon. The dollar IS going to fail, and the bailout just the last insult from a system of governance that should die, having no relevance or future bearing on our society's future.
