Disk problem/ downloading Recently I was downloading a file and something messed up, now whenever I boot limewire the file comes up and says disk error next to it. I have plenty of room on my hard drive, I've deleted the incomplete folder, i've uninstalled the program and reinstalled it, but I can't make it go away. when I clear the task it still shows that i'm downloading a file, however its nowhere to be seen. If I click exit after transfers it never exits so it thinks its downloading but I can't get this to stop. Help please! |

Downloading or uploading? Easy to get confused between the two. Perhaps you should try this: Tip: Purge the Downloads Queue! (click on blue link). This means clearing your download list and your incomplete folder. |

hmm ... I've a suspicion it might be a trouble some file. Check Incomplete Download File won't delete at all (click on link). Which has several options. Some of those utility programs may do the trick, depending on the file. Make sure LW is turned off before you try to delete the file. |

Still no go, problem is there is no file to delete. I can delete the folder from my incomplete folder, but it just comes back. The original file has long since been deleted. If it makes any difference it was a torrent. I deleted all traces of limewire from the computer and the registry and installed it again. still same problem. |
