Default 30 reviews on Bitzi and no sources when downloading?

Why does this always happen? How could there be 30 reviews of something that I can't get any sources to download?

the fact that its been favorably reviewed says nothing about the number of people available to download from....especially if is an old file...even using BearShare beta forced into UP mode with about 45 connections (listed in these forums) its rather hard to find many sources for many 'out of date' files....

I had great success finding older files only by searching for torrents.

I use Vuze (Azureus) strictly as a dl client, with other services turned off. Thanks again for that tip, Remoc.

Okay I wish I knew what you guys were talking about.

Well I repeated the searches every 15 minutes or so until it started downloading. I'm not sure why, but it worked. I now have 8 sources. This is a new file too.

Hey Mich,
LW will Pick Up or Search for different Hosts that have the File you're looking for. That may be what you're referring to. Now that this is something that works for you, things will become a little easier.

If you really want to know: Beginners Guide (to torrents)
It's not very complicated, and may be useful if you're looking for obscure stuff not available on Gnutella (LW).

Remoc,
You steered me to uT, but also mentioned Azureus, when I asked you for a recommendation. (I think the two are equally good, but each has it's unique features.) You're not likely to get as many compliments here as you deserve, so thanks again!

HaHa You're Right Blackhorse, but that goes for All of us that Help out here on these Forums. Most members drop in for a quick fix, not bothering to Read or even try a simple Search to help them with there issues and once they get there answer, there out of here Without even a simple Thank You.

Well I downloaded utorrent and did a Google search for a file I wanted, then I clicked on it and it started downloading in Limewire, eheh. Is that normal? It was a file I couldn't find in Limewire before.
