But when frostwire start downloading that file it showed that 62% download was complete whereas i completed only 25% of the downloading. What is the problem here? Scene 2: I was downloading a movie in Frostwire n i completed 48%. But after sometime when i restart frostwire n resume that download then It was showing that only 1% was complete. But in the incomplete folder i could see about 40 mins of the movie. Scence: 3 In anothere incident i was after resuming download after restart i found that my download progress percentage (%) is not moving at all but i was downloading at a good speed. What is the problem here? Is it possible that firefost downloading the same part again which it downloaded before? or is that download progress status is showing wrong percentage and i should igonre it? Please help me out. I have a slow connection and I dont know what i m doing wrong.... |

![]() wow that is an odd scenario. I am aware of this: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/downlo...wards-why.html Depends what you mean by resume the download. If you mean from the Library window, resume function from incomplete folder, then the proper download % will not show until the file actually starts downloading. I have not heard of people continually swapping their downloads between LW & FW, so not sure what effects it has (though have heard of using same download folder). A file of same 'hash' that is in one of their incomplete file download histories might consider one swapped across between programs as being the same incomplete file. It does sound like FW was redownloading the file, not having any history of the previous download in its records. |

![]() Shouldn't need to resume each time, though it is an option from the Download window. LW automatically attempts to find sources for the incompletes when you open the program, and again periodically. Personally, I use the search to find sources. I also use the Get More Results advanced search option. ![]() |

![]() I switched back to basic 4.18.08 but same problem happened after 69%. It was not moving from there. only thing i did wrong this time( i guess) was i lost my net connection and it was showing, '' waiting for busy hosts'', ''need more sources'' these two command. I then click on 'find more source'. I guess limewire dont totally act as torrent where this kind of things never happened. But i got a solution now. I think limewire work same as Free Download Manager, Flash get. Cause I search for torrent and opened the the Relevant Torrent(The same file which i was downloading in limewire) in both of these download manager. Then i stoped downloading and replace the avi file with the avi file which was in the incomplete folder of limewire. And then both these download manager showed that 69% of the download was complete and start download from there. I dont know what the problem with my limewire. I really like it cause it is very faster than any other option. I guess too much pause and resume is the causes for this. I live in Bangladesh where there is lots of Load Shedding (I dont think you know what this is, cause you dont face this problem in your country!!!) and i think this is the reason. |

![]() Well, I have the same problem as Sunnynchelsea and I live in France. I also use the latest version of LWpro and my downloading also freezes after a while and it could be either 3 % or 64 % no matter what, and apparently the downloading continues at a good rate without anything changing in the progress status. I know nothing about frostwire and I don't even know what you are talking about but the problem seems definitely coming from LW. I've been using LW for several years and I've never seen that. I used to launch LW, the downloading began and unless it stopped for a lack of sources it took just a few hours. The problem seems to have appeared recently and only with movie downloads or TV series, not with music. So something technical seems to be going wrong which doesn't depend on where we live and I expect we should be more than 2 to be confronted with this problem. |

![]() Yes; some downloadings remain stuck at so many % and don't move from there while at the same time the downloading is going on. So either it comes from a bug in LW or from somewhere, maybe at government level, to stop downloading for copywrights reason |
