Cant Launch Program
 

Hello
I have a Mac clone(remember those) Power Computing
Power Tower pro 200 system 7.5 native-upgraded to system 8.6
Downloaded Limewire for the first time 3/5/02
Upon first launch ,my system threw away program-ist was gone-only alias was left
Upon 2nd download 3/6/02 , I cant even launch program-got mac error code -39
(-39 eofErr End of file; no additional data in the format)-right-real helpful.
Do I need system 9?
OK so I trid to use MacTella instead-program either locks up upon download
or never seems to download anything(either always on Opening connection or server busy
a buddy of mine says he has 8.6 and MacTella program works fine. Now in Mactella case he has a T1 and i have an admittly slow 28.8 modem but late at nite i'm willing to wait if it would work
I would prefer to use Limewire which works great on my girlfriend's 500MHZ clock new G4.
what am i doing wrong-someone suggested I may need to download a library or extension or something
but after reading the Limewire info I cant find anything that refers to this option

Oh PS how can I set up a folder/number(183.2.5:6346 for ex.) to share with others?
