Can other's search using your LW account ?
 

I am fsirly new to LimeWire. I use this service to download music for my MP3 player. I haven't been on in about 3 months. However, the other night I opened LW to get some more tunes and down in the status area, there were searches for child porn. I don't think anything was downloaded, but it was searched and said more sources needed.

How do I know if my hubby was searching this? I asked him and obviously he denied it. Is it possible for other LW users to search for stuff using your account or computer? Or can hackers and the sort use my computer to search for this?

Sorry I am not computer smart and just need to know what type of person I am married to.

wow that's a tough question. Whilst it 'is' possible that a computer can be controlled by outside users hacking in, that would be an extreme case.

Or download & run the utilities listed in Step 3 in the above link. Such as Malicious Software Removal Tool for removal of Malware & the others listed.
