Hiya. I have been in the process of downloading a torrent file of the ***** guide for about the past 4-5 days. I am/was currently at 57%, chugging along my way to downloading the 44.5 GB file, using limewire version 4.18.8 when I had to restart my computer for an uninstallation of something to take effect. I had already restarted my computer once before earlier today, and reopened limewire and it went right back to downloading the file. However, I was not so lucky the second time. Now limewire is stuck at "Locating Sources" for the 44.5 GB file. However, My connection status is just fine, I have all 5 bars and am capable of downloading other files/torrents, however, this one is at a halt.

Just wondering what might be up with this file? Its obviously a possibility that something is wrong with the host or seeders or whatever, but I think its a little too coincidental that it only stopped downloading once I restarted for the second time.

System specs:
P-6301 Gateway Laptop
1.46 GHZ Dual Core Pentium
1 GB RAM
Windows Vista, Home Premium

Torrents are a little more complex. Sometimes there's not many seeders online, perhaps only partial file holders so speeds can vary greatly. I found torrent speeds tend to vary over a 24 hour day, or even some days of the week depending on who was online. Also some of those with the file you are after might be sharing most of their upload bandwidth with 'other' files at that particular time.

Another main issue which unfortunately LW does not inform you about is about Share Ratio. For those who use 'other' full-purpose torrent programs, they sometimes have their settings set so people with less than a particular Share ratio cannot upload from them.
