![]() Most audio files on the network being shared are mp3's. wma & m4a/mp4 & Ogg would be next popular at a guess. Then would be real files. You will not find high numbers of lossless file format files being shared. AIFF or WAV or FLAC, APE, WV, etc. are all lossless formats but not too commonly shared. I personally share about a dozen albums of songs in AIFF format. One or two albums as apple lossless (m4a). Lossless means no information was thrown away during the conversion into that format. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audio_file_format |

![]() I right-clicked on the top of the search bar and it doesn't give me a choice of "type" so I can download music like I did before. All I get is MP3 and I want to be able to play the music in my car which doesn't have an MP3 player. What do I need to do? |

![]() I am guessing you are using LW 5. You'd need to use the advanced search under Tools menu to do an audio specific search. Click on Classic view top right, then right-click on column bar & show extension. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/new-fe...tml#post338459 After downloading the mp3's you'd need to burn to CD-R as an audio type disk, not an mp3 disk. Should be able to fit up to 74 mins on a 650 MB CD-R, or up to 79 mins on a 700 MB CD-R. iTunes & WMP have burn to disk abilities. But Nero is probably best. |
