![]() Hi, new to the forums. I generally don't have any downloading problems when using limewire, but I do have a problem when I try to download torrents via limewire. 1 torrent can download, but next to that I cannot download any other file through limewire, even though normally I can download alot more at a time. I can download multiple movies and songs through limewire, but as soon as I start downloading a torrent I can't download any other files. The reverse also happens, if I'm already downloading one or more songs or movies in limewire I can't open a torrent. Screenshot (It's in Dutch) : The error is in Dutch so I'll try to give a translation... : You're already downloading this file to C:\...etc (or something along those lines), even though I am not or have never downloaded that file. This sucks hard especially when downloading ... entire collections... Because I can't download any songs for as long as the torrent is downloading. How could I solve this? EDIT : Apparantly I can't post a screenshot because I have some cursewords in my name and map, but here's a link : http://s166.photobucket.com/albums/u...ireproblem.jpg EDIT* The link doesn't work, because the account name is being censored. You'll either need to change the name of your account, or make a new account Last edited by 6_pac; December 30th, 2008 at 12:27 AM. Reason: Added info. |

![]() LW is a very poor torrent client. It does not adhere to the requirements of many torrent sites, and therefore cannot dl from some of them (one problem is LW doesn't track share ratios). You will be much better off using a true torrent client, such as Azureus (what I use) or uTorrent (both are free and each has its own advantages). As to your question re "already downloading" you'll find my answer here: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/downlo...same-file.html |
