Default Files automatically downloading

Hi folks. I have read a lot of this forum trying to find an answer. I know now about the file sizes that are viruses, 5611, 3979, and 3462. I have run into these before and just cancelled the download and marked it as junk. Pretty much any song that won't play in preview mode, I just cancel the download. The problem now is that I have two that won't delete, and won't cancel the download. So whenever I start up LW, they automatically start downloading. When I choose "cancel download", they disappear but I still see limewire saying I have 2 downloads in progress. Shut down, restart, start LW again, and there they are again. Any advice is appreciated.

Go to LW's library, click on Incomplete Files. Highlight a file & click Explore (bottom left). Your incomplete folder will open. Leave that folder open & close LW. Make sure it's properly closed by checking in Task Manager - if there's a LW process running, end the process.

Once LW's properly closed, delete the files that are causing problems from within that incomplete folder that you still have open.

If you still can't delete them, try one of the tools here (DelinvFile & Unlocker have both worked well for me): http://www.gnutellaforums.com/downlo...elete-all.html

Another option, cancel those particular trouble-some downloads & close then LimeWire. Go to the incomplete folder. Move all good files from the incomplete folder to a new folder. Delete the incomplete folder. Now the new folder you created with all the good files inside can be renamed to incomplete. See if that works if Birdy's suggestion does not do the trick.

I figured it out, basically did what Botox said. The only two files I had in my incomplete folder were the two giving me trouble. So with LW closed, I went to the Incomplete folder on my computer and just deleted the folder. When I strted to download new music, a new incomplete folder was automatically created. Thank you for the replies, great forum.
