Default Incomplete files prevent re-download

Sometimes, I cancel a download because it isn't working. However, Limewire will not let me re-download because it thinks that I am already downloading that file. I assume that is because an incomplete version is stored on the computer. Where are those incomplete files stored (e.g., what is the name of the folder?) and how can I flush them out immediately?

Open LW and go to the library page and go down to the bottom of the list of shared files and you'll see "Incomplete Files". Click on it and you can delete the files from there.

Hi all,
i came on the forum with a similar problem to the original poster which would suggest this issue is not just affecting me alone!

i read the linked topic but it does what is happeing to me at least does appear to be slightly different.

i have a number of files in my active window but not doing anything so i cancel the download which sends them to the incomplete file in both limewire and on my hard drive. however if i then go to my incomplete files store in limewire and try to delete them it tells me i am still downloading them so they cant be deleted. this also stops me deleting them from my hard drive. if i shut limewire down i can successfully delete them from my hard drive but if i open up limewire again every single file that was in my incomplete library is back in my active downloading (though not neccisarily doing anything). i have even managed to clear the majority of the files from the lw incomplete file, but a few still remain 'downloading'. if i restart limewire low and behold all of the files are back including those i had managed to get rid of. hope somebody can help!
cheers
chris
