May need to port forward separately for the laptop. You need (1) a different static ip address & (2) to port forward a different port to the laptop. Example, port 64049.

Examples of internal ip's. Router ip address: 198.168.0.1, first computer address 198.168.0.2, 3rd computer address 198.168.0.3

You would not be able to use either the same ip address or port number for the laptop. Port forwarding is specific to computer & its ip address. Ports are limited to specific computer on the network (routers will in a way reserve them for a single computer which is why you need to choose a different port number.)

Which brand & model router is it?

inbound port is the one you will set for your laptop, needs to be different from your other computer. The ip address is the static ip you set up for your laptop which is the very first thing you should do. Enable, type: make it both UDP & TCP. Description, erm ... I guess call it limewire.
