please help so I can use my limewire (no search results)

I have windows vista and i've tried to uninstall and reinstall limewire and it didn't resolve my problem, which is everytime I try to search for something when I press search it is blank where the search results would usualy be. and i've checked my connection and it's fine and there is no message of limewire being blocked by a firewall. so please help me thank you.
