Unhappy i have 0kb/s problem (solved)

my torent was downloading fine but i had to exit lime wire in order to run another program which cant run while LW is running, when i opened limewire again an hour or so later i found i was connected to 46 hosts give or take over time but the speed is now 0Kb/s. the speed wasnt fantastic before i shut down but at least i was getting somewhere. i am itching to watch this ****** episode so i realy hope someone is able to help, i also should mention limewire is NOT detecting any firewall.

never mind, i just found a similar thread which has been answered. Doh!

I do not recommend LW for torrents. Some torrent users have their program set not to share with users with a share ratio less than a certain %. LW does not seem to even record this information. A user has no idea what their share ratio is. So this in itself is an issue.

Personally I use Azureus, better known as Vuse now for torrents. Patience is best with torrents. And having a good share ratio. My share ratio is around 2.3 which means I've uploaded 2.3 times as much as I've downloaded. Some have their torrent program set not to share with people who have a share ratio less than 1.0 or even higher.

Thought I'd answer anyways.

yes ... although your bandwidth may struggle so you need to manage it between both programs; careful about upload & download settings.
