Default Paused files lost

I had to pause a download because Windows had to restart (updates). Anyway, I started limewire 5 again and I can't find my paused download . Anyone know where it went? Thanks.

In LW click on View > click on Show Download Tray... do your paused downloads show at the bottom of LW now?

If that doesn't help...
You can't resume files with LW 5 like you could with LW 4... any incomplete downloads should show up at the bottom of LW (regardless of whether you have the Home page up or a search page etc) & either resume downloading or give you the option to try again if the download stalls.

I just tried it - had 2 downloads going, paused both, shut down LW & restarted the computer.

Once I started LW again, the paused downloads automatically connected & resumed until I paused them again.

In LW go to Tools > Downloads... are any files showing up on that page?

Nope nothing worked. Oh well, I'll just have to start over. Now I just have to figure out what stalled means. Thanks anyway, birdy.

If a download shows as stalled, you don't have a connection to the host(s) sharing that file.

You'll see 'Try Again' next to a stalled download - if clicking on that doesn't help then try a whole new search for the file. Don't cancel the stalled download, just leave it as is & start the new search. If a download's stuck, sometimes a new search can get things moving again
