download error message I just downloaded LW 5. I tried searching for songs, and that worked fine, but when I click on a song to download it I get an error message that reads: Sorry, there was a problem downloading your file. I have searched through this forum trying to find this error message, but I haven't been able to find anything that seems to work. Any help is useful! Thank You!!!! |

I haven't seen that error yet Is that all it said - nothing to give you more of a clue what the problem was? Try searching again for the file. Either start a whole new search or right click on the original search tab > find more results. Check the file before download with Bitzi - if other people have rated the file then you'll get some idea if it's good or bad. How to use Bitzi Just in case the file you were trying to download was a nasty, check out the threads below for more info about what to avoid, some general virus info & info about fake files: Virus thread: Typical virus spam file sizes - Make a note of them (click on blue link to see) * WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of ! * Fake files showing up in search results How to find music |

I have tried all of those suggestions and nothing works still. No, it does not give me any other information, except an error box pops up and in the title it says Download then in the actual box it says sorry, there was a problem downloading your file. If anyone else has advise that would be WONDERFUL!!! When I have time next, I'm going to try and uninstall LW5 and then reinstall it to see if that helps. I don't know what else to do. |

reinstalling is really the only thing I can think of... is it just a specific file, or is it a bunch of them? There have been problems on iTunes with files that i couldn't get on my pc, and it may have just been how it was uploaded |

Hello, I'm having the same problem, and it happened with a lot of files. I re-installed LW5 but I still get this same annoying message. It did let me download a video though, so it's not a firewall problem neither (or am I wrong?). Any help would be appreciated. |
