Help removing a file

I downloaded a song that turned out to not be a song at all. I can't delete it from my download folder, it won't give me the option of deleting. I even tried dragging it to the recycle bin, but it won't work. How can I get rid of this file? With the old Limewire, I could go into my folder and erase it in Limewire, but now with this new one, I can't do it. I got rid of it from the Limewire program in my files folder, but it didn't leave my hard drive. Please help! I want this gone!

Deleting file in Safe Mode still won't work

This didn't help. It's not an incomplete file. It's a song that actually downloaded fully, but it's unplayable. And when I right-click to delete it, the only options I get are Play, Open With..., and Send to. That's it. I tried going into Safe Mode and deleting it, but the same thing happens.

I understand that it's not an incomplete file.

But that thread has info about other utilities which can be helpful when files won't delete. For instance, when Unlocker's installed, you should see an Unlocker option when right clicking on the file & then you can try deleting that way.
Did you try Unlocker or DelinvFile?

File still not able to be deleted.

I went to that site and it didn't help at all. I download the file they told me to, and it still won't work. The only options I get when I right click on this file is to Play, Send to..., Open With..., and Add To Windows Media Player List. That's it. I don't get the options to delete, rename, anything like that. I'm really stuck here. I tried going into Safe Mode and deleting it that way, but I still get the same options. I just can't get rid of this file. Nothing seems to be working. In the old Limewire version, I was able to remove it there. But now with this new one, it doesn't let me. It just removes it from the list shown, not from my hard drive, like before.
