Where is the cancelled video download?
 

After starting a download I went to my Incomplete folder and started playing it. Finding it wasn't what I wanted to keep I went back to Lime and cancelled the download and the listing disappeared. This was my first time using Pro.

In non-Pro I would then go back to my inc. folder and dump it to my recycle bin where everything is automatically shredded. This time the file was gone from my inc folder.

Where is it?

Which version of LW are you using?

If you're using LW 5 then cancelling the downoad deletes it completely (see post #16): LimeWire Forums

Thanks birdy so its not even in a temporary folder. I.e. the download is not sitting somewhere where I cannot access it but still readable.

I can't remember what happened with cancelled dlds/incompletes in the earlier LW 5 Alphas & Betas, but for me (LW 5.1.2) a cancelled download disappears completely. It's no longer in the Incomplete folder & doesn't go to the recycle bin. It's just gone.

Likewise for LW 5.1.1

I would prefer it stay where I can locate it and shred it. I'm always worried about illegal porn being stuck in there.
