I keep receiving this message. I can't download anything. I using XP Ser Pack 2. Cheers.

It means the file is already in your library & has same file contents. ;) The file name might not be identical however.

Make sure you're not attempting to download spammed files; Virus thread: Typical virus spam file sizes - Make a note of them (click on blue link to see)

I should have been more explicit; I don't have the files I'm trying to download. They're absolutley new to my harddrive. The error occurs everytime I hit the download button. Even when I try to "download as" the message appears. I tried uninstalling via the uninstall tool and then removed every limewire file remaining manually; I've tried changing my default download location to a new & empty file. Nothing has worked.

In that case delete your LW prefs folder whilst LW is closed. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...tml#post183932 but make a note of your settings first. ;)
