i thought it was maybe a corrupt file so i have uninstalled and reinstalled it. i have uploaded the latest version of java. i have changed my screen resolution to every option possible and still everything is smeared and blurry. help please! here is a screenshot to show you what i have going on. thank you in advance for your responces.

sorry about that, i run on vista 64-bit, graphics run on NVIDIA GeForce G100. i have a 21in widescreen monitor. hope that helps. sorry i didnt include it earlier. still working on trying to get the limewire to clear up. so keep the advice coming. im trying everything everyone tells me to do. and im still not having any luck. thank you for those that replied.

Using XP/Vista? Try changing the compabitility mode by right-clicking the program/shortcut & choosing a different setting such as XP or NT or win 2000, etc. Another option is with compatibility mode to change resolution. Not sure if that will help. Worth trying these things however. But should only be done whilst LW is closed.

since you haven't given us any specs about your machine, I will give you instructions for XP

Start>Control Panel>Display>Settings>Advanced...set hardware acceleration to full....
