I have MANY songs that for some reason didn't tag right when they were imported to Limewire. There is a number, the name of the song, the time, but no artist info. When I change the info, half of the time it deletes the time information, doesn't add the information that I changed, and it's as if the song is gone, even though the name is still there. I have tried deleting them from the library and then re-importing them, but they come back the same way. No time, won't play. These are my own cd's from my iTunes account.

LW 5's id3 tag reading is lacking. It has problems reading the tags. LW 4's abilities were much better. I'm sure LW 5 will improve upon this later in year, but I suffer the same problem with half my library from iTunes lacking either artist or album. And adding information via LW 5 can only be done one file at a time. LW 4 could add information to multiple files at a time.

Also, iTunes does not always tag music songs properly. iTunes by default tags using ID3v2.2 though it does have the option to tag at higher than this if you know how to do it. However I prefer using a 3rd party tagger to tag at ID3v2.3 or ID3v2.4 depending on how much information I wish to add.
