sharing vid content with a friend

Hello all,
I've just joined, and Im a bit stuck on how to share video content with a friend (none limewire user)
Basically i want to notify them that they can upload vid files from me using limewire, but i don't know how to inform them on what is needed?
Can someone please help...

You can open a private network and share your HD with him, or ask him to use LW and access your private folder.
