How to fixup stalled downloads.
 

I am using Limwire 5.2.13 and my operating system is windows. I am having huge problem with limewire. Whenever my internet connection gets disconnected and I reconnect back to internet, my running download gets stalled or sometimes it downloads same thing again and it doesn't progress any more. Is there any thing I can do to get rid of this problem?

Are these torrent files or gnutella network files?
If files stop downloading, try searching the file again as you did in the first place. Then after 10-15 minutes, right-click the search tab & choose Find More Results, so hopefully find plenty of hosts to download from.

Why they are not recovering properly & starting from scratch I'm not sure. Unless there is something wrong with the original file or on your disk.

the original hosts were probably lost due to the loss of connectivity and what new sources were found brought up the continual problem of LW not being able to properly resume downloads...

that has been an issue since the day I first used LW...

I haven't noticed any of the other gnutella apps having this type of continual problem
