several 99% finished dls just hang at 0kb and will not complete

windows vista [w/admin priv]; limewire 5.3.6 [java 1.6.0_13]; cable; firewall configured to allow program requirements...

several dls will go to 0kb/s and just hang that way at 99% complete at the same time other dls move along just fine. i also notice that some dls, when complete, will actually show a few more kbs dl'd than the actual file. sometimes, as well, complete [incl. the aforementioned 'overkb'] dls will not 'complete'--they will just sit with the files currently dl'ing and perhaps go into my library as complete when i close/restart limewire.
is this odd?? i really don't recall this happening with the version 5 beta i had prior to this version.
