not downloading and system resorces?
 

Hi everyone,
I recently upgraded to LW 5.3 and at first everything was fine for about one day...
after that once i start LW i can no longer connect to the internet... and LW does not download my files as it started out to do...?
Most of the files are showing many people to share but nothing is happening..?
the longer LW is active the slower the PC becomes as it just seems to use up too much of the system resorces...?
Can anyone help me..?

Hey guys,
im back with my tale between my legs, so to speak...!
Firstly my appologies for just thinking that you guys will just answer any post.. and for not doing my own groundwork to try and fix my problem...!
Anyway, i have read through quite a bit of the forum and guess what... im still deep in S**T...!
So here goes, this is what i have done so far..

My system is:
1. vista
2. eset
3. 4 gig ram
4. 160 hd
5. broad band
6. adsl 2/2 + router (planet) 24 mbps
7. house
8 . LW 5.6
9. EUnetadsl
10. Test ok (without lw activated)
11. no
12. new
13. dont think so (brick wall)
14. i think upnp enabled
15. eset
16. serbia
17. i reinstalled java to 6.14 then to 6.15

OK Thats my system.

Here is what ive done so far:
1. tried with the FW shut down
2. reinstalled LW
3. changed port setting several times
4. deleted gnutella.net
5. preferences: i have a different problem as i cannot unhide folders with my system.. i think it is bug or something...? i set it to show hidden folders and as soon as i enable and ok, it automatically (defaults) back to hidden... so this i havent tried...
basically, i am just trying everything and anything i can, but without really knowing what the hell im doing...!

iI've learned my lesson so I hope that you guys will show some pitty on me now... and HELP me...!
