Default Can't download (now that I switched to a wireless connection every download stalls)

Im having a problem downloading songs. It worked fine when I had a wired connection but now that I switched to a wireless connection every download stalls before it even starts. Limewire is even connected to the network too. I'm using a Linksys wireless-G broadband router

it could be connecting to bad peers try clicking view/show/hide put a check next to connections then you can remove then also do you have peerguardian or peerblock if not you should get either one it blocks bad peers. i have been using peerblock sense i have vista peerguardian doesn't work very well with it get pg2 here Phoenix Labs PeerGuardian 2 or peerblock here PeerBlock ? Peerblock Site if you have vista and want peerguardian get the one for vista but its new and has problems.

It was never a problem before though. It would download with a wired connection, but I switched to a wireless connection and now it wont. I dont think it would be bad peers, I've tried files with 2, 4, 6, and 8 peers but they all stall at 0%.

wrt54g? Which model exactly may I ask? It might be best to port forward it. Some ranges of the Linksys wireless routers are unreliable when run in UPnP mode due to poor firmware, something they have never fully fixed.

(Speeds will never be quite as consistent with wireless mode, perhaps more noticeable when running torrents when high numbers of connections of peers or block of peers can cause disconnection or slow down issues (ie: flooding the wireless abilities.))

Your O/S, is it Vista? Because if it is that would explain a lot.
