Don,t want to download MP3

I Have tried over and over again and again, I need to know what i need to do to be able to download music so it will play on a regular CD Player, everything i download seems to be in MP3 I don't want MP3 I have it set for Audio, what do i need to do to change this and be able to play a song on a normal CD PLAYER I am using I Tunes to burn my music. Very Upset, Please Help
