![]() Very new user here. First, the only purpose for my having Limewire is to share files with one other person only, a family member. These files are many, sometimes large and I prefer to upload them in zip file. They are usually to large to send thru email including g-mail. Myself and the other person both installed the free version 5.4.6, mine on XP home edition and the other on Vista. We had no problems with test upload/downloads such as single .jpg .bmp etc. When I try to add a zip file to the sharing list or to the library, it tells me it cannot be added to the library. Size does not matter, it won't let me add it. Yet I know I read in one of the faq's that zip is one of the files that are recognized. What am I doing wrong or is this a case of "those are one of the files that can only be uploaded with the Pro version"? |

![]() Some sample images here might help you configure things: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/339365-post2.html Make sure .zip is on the Programs allowed extensions list for sharing (2nd sample image.) |
