Unhappy Undo Limewire/Torrent Mistake

Please bear with me on this. I'm not quite sure how to word my problem correctly.
Whenever I want to download a music video from a Torrent site I normally go to my preferred torrent site, select a music video (for example), click on 'download this torrent', then click on 'Open'. After that, my U Torrent client automatically springs into action and begins to download the file.
Now, what is happening is this, Limewire seems to have 'taken over'. I click on 'Open' as normal but Limewire opens and starts to 'search locations'.
I opened Limewire prior to this and I'm almost certain I clicked on or checked something or other because a Limewire window had opened which I haven't seen before. I clicked on a few boxes by mistake thinking I was doing the right thing.
Now I can't get back to the way I prefer to download torrents. That is, NOT using Limewire. I've tried to get things back using Limewire tools but nothing works.
Please help.

Two things you can/should do.
1. Open LW & at the menu bar, Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> System. File Associations -> uncheck option for .torrent files.

Undo Limewire/Torrent Mistake-disable-torrents-lw.gif (click to see larger view)

2. Right-click any .torrent file you have downloaded from a torrent website, choose open with from the menu & select your preferred torrent program & then check option to always open with. If cannot find your preferred torrent program on list (try scrolling down first), else choose the Browse button & direct it to where the program is.
