LimeWire Sabotaging System's Bandwidth? I have a 7Mbps DSL connection and using LimeWire 5.4.6. I monitor my network traffic using Window's Task Manager. As soon as I start up LimeWire, my bandwith usage drops from 6 or 7 percent down to 1 or 2 percent on a 100Mbps ethernet connection. This is not a case of my other downloads competing with LimeWire for bandwidth, because I have plenty of bandwidth left that isn't being used. LimeWire drops my overall connection speed by more than 2/3. It looks to me like LimeWire limits my connection speeds in order to upsell it's "Pro" service. Is this what's going on?
