![]() When using a linksys router and setting port forwarding to the ip address that corresponds with your computer, does that allow an external user to access the rest of the files on the PC?? I have lots of cool files to share but am afraid to bypass the security provided by my router. |

![]() Well, your IP address will change every time you connect to the Internet. But the point of this is that you can see what IP you have at the time you connected, so you can type it in the LimeWire FireWall settings. |
